I’m a Site Reliability Engineer. I write about running production systems on lean infrastructure, and I spend my spare cycles building small tools and exploring problems that interest me.

What I’m working on
A personal memory layer. Most bookmark managers are just lists. I’m exploring what it looks like to actually surface the right thing at the right time. Not just bookmarks though. All tied in with cross platform sync.
Community intelligence for under-resourced orgs. An intel gathering project that pulls grant opportunities, policy changes, and demographic shifts into one place. The interesting problem is making it useful without drowning the user in noise.
Bulk domain management. A tool for people who own more than ten domains and are tired of spreadsheets. The fun part is the renewal logic and the cross-registrar API surface.
A screenshot tool for Windows. There are plenty of options out there, but none of them look appealing. Working on something that works well and is nice to look at.
Currently
A few things on my plate right now, finishing an MBA, hiring for a part-time role I’ve never managed before, and shipping the first usable version of the memory layer. More on the /now page.
